Juan is a co-founder of Tanda, a poetry collective based in Pilsen that studies the work of Latine poets and hosts writing workshops in partnership with the Pilsen Arts & Community House. His poems The Sylvia Plath Effect and Pests have been published in SabrToothTiger Magazine, where he served as Assistant Editor of vol. 1, reviewing prose submissions and supporting the magazine editorial staff.
